CCGeo is an accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Provider for Geodetic Engineering by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) through its CPD Council of Geodetic Engineering.
Background
The CPD Act of 2016 (also called the “CPD Law”) defines CPD as “the inculcation of advanced knowledge, skills and ethical values in a post-licensure specialization or in an inter- or multidisciplinary field of study, for assimilation into professional practice, self-directed research and/or lifelong learning.” The CPD Programs can include a set of learning activities accredited by the CPD Council such as seminars, workshops, technical lectures, and trainings, among others.
The CPD Law has made CPD as a mandatory requirement in the renewal of the Professional Identification Cards (PICs) of all registered and licensed professionals.
