Welcome to the Caraga Center for Geo-Informatics (CCGeo), an interdisciplinary center of Caraga State University that is solely-devoted for the conduct of research, innovation and training activities in the field of GEO-INFORMATICS.
Simply put, “Geo-Informatics is the art, science or technology dealing with the acquisition, storage, processing production, presentation and dissemination of geo-information” (Wikipedia).
Geo-informatics includes Surveying, Geodesy, Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), Remote Sensing, Geographic Information System (GIS), Photogrammetry, Cartography, and Web Mapping, among others.
At CCGeo, we primarily deal with and apply Geo-Informatics to understand or address real world geographic problems and situations.
